This 11-story Italian Renaissance Revival building was originally owned and operated by the Stillwell Hotel Corporation of Los Angeles as a luxury apartment hotel. The same prominant group of architects who also, designed the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. This building was first an listed as a"own-your-own," today it is considered as condominiums. Its name was changed from Stillwell to Willmore to honor the man who launched the development of Long Beach. The solarium on the top floor features a series of arched windows and balconies. The elegant lobby evokes the ambience of the past. The building underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation and improvement program in 1991, which included seismic retrofit and repainting. The building is listed with the state as a Historical Building which has preserved its beauty from the early nineteen twenties.  Most Units have city or ocean views.  A Italian restaurant " La Traviata, Long Beach " calls the Willmore home, located on the first floor of the building.  This restaurant offers italian gourmet menus while offering the best in ambience.  The Willmore is centrally located to some of the cities finest attractions and easy accessible to dining which is just a few steps away.
